About the Arcadia Chapter
The Arcadia Chapter has been serving the Arcadia community for 55 years. Even though Red Cross had a presence in Arcadia as early as World War I, chapter status was not obtained until 1948. While the projects have changed from knitting and sewing, making surgical dressings and distributing army surplus supplies to families in need, local volunteers have remained true to the vision.       Complete Chapter history
